PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a whole apparatus compact and to easily carry the forming apparatus in a job site to install it by using a tabular stock formed beforehand, the breadthwise dimension of which is enlarged from the longitudinal one end side to the other end, and by joining both breadthwise end parts of the stock to each other. SOLUTION: One set of forming roll shafts 5a, 5b are arranged along a feed direction of the stock 4 in several stages in a vertical posture. The stock 4 is passed between the set of forming roll shafts 5a, 5b at respective stages at the state that both end edge parts of the stock width direction are positioned up/down. Upper side forming rolls 9a, 9b to bend to upper end edge part of the stock 4 and lower side forming rolls 8a, 8b to bent the lower end edge part of the stock 4 are arranged up/down of one set of the forming roll shafts 5a, 5b. The upper side forming rolls 9a, 9b bend the upper end edge part of the stock 4, while moving along a height of the upper end edge of the stock 4 upward or downward.
