PURPOSE: Provided are complex ion conducting polymer membrane added with reinforcement and a fuel cell with enhanced cell efficiency by using the membrane. CONSTITUTION: The membrane is made by dipping the porous base material into an ion-exchange polymer and reinforcement agent or spray coating the composition on the porous base material. The membrane comprises: a porous base material which is composed of one or more materials selected from poly tetrafluoroethylene, vinylidenefluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer, polypropylene, polyethylene and polysulfone; ion exchange polymer which has 600-1200g/H+ of equivalent weight and a reactive site such as sulfonic acid group or carboxylic acid group; one or more reinforcement agents selected from (a) materials with excellent moisture-containing property such as SiO2, ZrO2, mordenite, tin oxide and zeolite or (b) an activating catalyst selected from Pt, Pd, Ru, Rh, Ir, Au and Pt/Ru. When the mixture are used, the weight ratio of mixture being 3-90wt.% of moisture-containing materials and 10-97wt.% of activating catalysts. |
