PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile remote maintenance device which avoids communication impossibility and occurrence of a work requiring a maintenance center member by automatically converting data to a data structure of various set information, which customer facsimile equipment after change has, regardless of the change to another machine type at the time of reading various set information from the customer facsimile equipment. SOLUTION: When change of the machine type is requested by an operator, a control part 21 converts facsimile information 24a, dial information 24b, counter information 24c, and maintenance set information 24d in a set information storage part 24 to a data structure for the machine type to which the change is requested.
