PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for multimedia contents reproduction which enable synchronous display of movie and contents, reproduction from the arbitrary position of the movie and creation of scenario, based on the scenario. SOLUTION: In the scenario information created by the scenario creation device, plural items, which are a combination of the relative time from movie information and contents information displayed along with the display of movie information, are stored. A control unit refers to the scenario information converted by a scenario analyzer and makes both the movie reproducing device and the contents displaying device synchronously. The scenario displaying device displays all the items and notifies each user's selection of items to the control device. The control unit, upon receiving the notification, directs reproduction of movie information starting from the notified time by using movie reproducing device.
