PURPOSE: A portable speaker is provided to minimize the structure size, thereby improving portability and convenience of the same. CONSTITUTION: A portable speaker includes an upper body(1a) and a lower body(1b) corresponding to the upper body. The shape of the bodies is rectangular. On the upper body is formed a sound exit(11) for discharging audible sounds out. The upper body and lower body are engaged with each other by a fastener member having projections and fixtures wherein projections and fixtures of the upper and lower body are correspondingly engaged with each other. A speaker is provided between upper and lower bodies. An armored microphone(3) is mounted on one side of the portable speaker to transform outer sound into electrical signal and to transmit the same to the speaker. On one side of the portable speaker is also formed a volume controller(6) and on one side of the volume controller is formed a LED(7).
