PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiping implement capable of easily cleaning screen doors, windows, or the like without soiling hands even if rubber gloves or the like are not worn. SOLUTION: The wiping implement is provided with a pedestal part having an operating handle, and a bristle-planted fabric arranged on a lower face of the pedestal part. The bristle-planted fabric is formed by highly densely planting pile generally perpendicular to a base fabric. A sheet-like cleaning body is wound around the pedestal part, on which the bristle-planted fabric is arranged, thereby substances to be cleaned on a surface to be cleaned are collected by the sheet-like cleaning body.
