PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which enables loading or unloading of an elastic distal end cover in safety without any damage to an endoscope, especially a cover member of a curved part while preventing damage to the parietals of a subject as caused by a leaked current from a grip part. SOLUTION: The body 102 of the distal end-constituting part 102 is provided with a retaining groove 112 and a rib 117 of the tip cover 115 is fitted into the retaining groove 112. The distal end cover 115 is mounted on the body of the distal end-consitiuting part body 102.
