PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous operations and to provide an amusement for wait time by generating the effective sounds of high quality corresponding to circumstances. SOLUTION: Portable terminal equipment for performing information communications by using at least one of character information and image information is provided with a sound source capable of generating a plurality of sounds, a means for inputting the kind and condition of sounds to be generated and a means for controlling the sound source on the basis of an entry from this input means and controlling processing at the time of information communications. This control means generates the sounds of the kind inputted from the input means on the condition inputted from the input means during connecting processing of the information communications to a communicating party or during the information communications. |
