PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to prevent thermal loss of cold air due to radiant heat of a roof panel by mounting an air conditioner for discharging cold air to both front and rear sides of a room at the same time, in the center of the roof panel, and to keep the indoor environment pleasant by inhibiting temperature difference when a passenger gets on a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner consists of a case(70) mounted in the center of a roof panel(3) by plural screws(74), plural evaporators(50) connected with a condenser and a compressor through a refrigerant tube, and plural blower fans(60) discharging cold air cooled by the evaporators toward a room. Hot air of the room flows into the case through plural air inlet holes(71,72) to be cooled into cold air via the evaporators(51,52). The cold air is mixed in the middle part by the wind force of the blower fans(61,62). Then, the cold air is discharged to the room through a cold air discharge hole(73). The cold air is discharged to the front and rear sides of the room by grills(80) regularly. Thereby, the room is cooled regularly to keep the indoor environment pleasant.
