PURPOSE: A tag axle adjustor is provided to improve the reliability of a tag axle without increasing the capacity of an air tank by transferring power for a tag axle exactly. CONSTITUTION: A tag axle adjustor consists of a fluid tank(21) keeping working fluid; a pump(22) feeding the working fluid; a solenoid valve(23) connected with the pump; a cylinder(24) operated by the solenoid valve; and a tag axle(25) having flexible height according to operation of the cylinder. A check valve(27) is mounted on a side of a connecting line(26) coupled with the pump and the solenoid valve to control the working fluid. A pressure sensor(28) is mounted on the other side of the connecting line. The cylinder is used with a dual-acting hydraulic cylinder. If the pump is driven by an electric motor(29), the pump operates the cylinder through the solenoid valve. The cylinder operates the tag axle to adjust the height of the tag axle. The check valve prevents the working fluid from flowing back when the pump is not driven.
