SUPPORTING ROD FOR RED PEPPER AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A process of preparing the titled supporting rod capable of driving the rod into the ground and then binding a stalk of a red pepper to it with a string is provided. Therefore, the supporting rod made of a corrosion resistant metal or synthetic resin and a groove formed on the outer surface of the rod prevent the red pepper from falling down. CONSTITUTION: This supporting rod(1) comprises a column-type body part in which a plurality of grooves(4) are each formed separately longitudinally on the outer surface thereof and a sharp end part for striking the body part thereof into the ground(3). It is prepared by the following processes: a first forming roller bends both end parts in width of a belt-type metal plate; a second forming roller presses and adheres the bent part thereof; a third forming roller bends the central part in width along the longitudinal direction thereof and forms a reinforcing part along the longitudinal direction at the central part of the bent plane; and a fourth forming roller forms grooves at the same interval along the longitudinal direction on the plate.
