PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cutting the lateral shoot of bean to efficiently perform the prior patent application 'method for increasing the yield of beans independent of weather'. SOLUTION: The cutter apparatus is composed of a main frame to be attached to a tractor, a horizontal lateral frame attached to the main frame and placed perpendicular to the traveling direction of the tractor and a plurality of clipper-type cutter apparatuses driven by a tractor engine attached downward to the lateral frame. The side leaves of bean grown on a ridge are cut from both sides with a pair of adjacent cutter apparatuses.
