PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant polyamide composition having excellent flame retardance, improved fluidity, high toughness and excellent reflow heat resistance. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant polyamide composition is characterized in that the composition comprises (A) 20-85 wt.% of a polyamide constituted of a repeating unit composed of (i) a dicarboxylic acid component unit consisting of 30-100 mol% of terephthalic acid and 0-70 mol% of a dicaboxylic acid except terephthalic acid and (ii) a diamine component unit consisting of an aliphatic diamine and/or alicyclic diamine and having >=280 deg.C melting point, (B) 5-50 wt.% of an inorganic reinforcing material, (C) 5-40 wt.% of a bromine-based flame-retardant obtained by copolymerizing a brominated styrene with an epoxy group-containing olefin and (D) 0.1-10 wt.% of an antimony-containing compound and/or zinc-containing compound oxide (the total of the components (A), (B), (C) and (D) is 100 wt.%).
