STRUCTURE OF STORAGE TYPE AIR CONDITIONER FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE: A structure of storage type air conditioner for automobile is provided to improve performance of an engine and fuel efficiency by not using power generated in the engine. CONSTITUTION: A cold accumulator(10) is installed in a blower unit(100) to be supplied with electricity generated by driving of an engine to accumulate cold in cold accumulation medium. The cold accumulator comprises a heat insulator; cold accumulation medium electrodes; and a cold accumulation medium vessel. The heat insulator is formed to be a hollow box for intake air to be able to flow. The cold accumulation medium electrodes are installed in the heat insulator to face each other. The cold accumulation medium vessel is placed to exchange heat with intake air passing the heat insulator.
