摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer suspension which makes it possible to drastically curtail the number of laser welding process steps, to greatly enhance alignment accuracy and to improve vibration characteristics and wind disturbance characteristics without an increase in a spring constant, a HGA and a method of manufacturing the HGA. SOLUTION: The multiplayer suspension has a bending region which is constituted by partially removing at least portions of layers of a five layered structure including a first metallic sheet layer, a first resin layer laminated on the first metallic sheet layer, a second metallic sheet layer laminated on the first resin layer, a second resin layer laminated on the second metallic sheet layer and a conductive layer laminated on the second resin layer has elasticity, a gimbals region having elasticity to be mounted with the head slider and a rigid region which bonds the bending region and the gimbals region. The HGA has multilayer suspension and the head slider which is mounted on the multilayer suspension and has at least one head element.
