PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the shortcomings of the conventional wooden buildings such as making large holes and notches at the joint portions of the framework members which becomes the weakest points during earthquakes, considerable labor is required for making holes and navels resulting in high cost and hence fabrication and stocking of the member are hard. SOLUTION: The systematic method newly developed is capable of reducing the number of notches of wooden framework members, permitting easy cutting of members, fastening and fixing both the ends of braces at the same time with fittings and bolts thereby increasing the strength against earthquake, and enabling the stocking of processed members by standardized sizes and cuts for the framework. Fabrication above the ground permits the finishing of the exterior walls thereby making the exterior scaffold unnecessary and shortening the period of working time and reducing the construction cost.
