PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device capable of preventing ambient response to a user from being excessive by allowing persons other than the user to easily recognize whether or not the device is in a communicating state and also of urging the user to improve his/her manners by making the user surely recognize his/her situation. SOLUTION: This communication terminal device having a communication function for transmitting or receiving radio waves through an antenna 16, is provided with a function for displaying the current state of the device, and has a state displaying part installed at a place that the device user or both the device user and the third persons around the user can recognize.
