PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source controller for a rechargeable telephone terminal, by which the function of waiting for call-incoming and a function for speaking can be used, without having a user perform operation of turning on a power switch, after removing a telephone terminal, such as a mobile telephone set charged in the state of power off from a charger. SOLUTION: By providing a connection detection circuit for detecting the disconnection of voltage application from outside within a mobile telephone set, when the mobile telephone set is charged connected with the charger in the state of power off and the disconnection of the connection is detected (step S11), the state of power on in which a function for waiting call-incoming and a function for speaking can be utilized is formed (step S13), when the user has previously set uses of the function for automatic turning on of power (step S12).
