PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a foam sheet which is good in thickness precision and can be attached to an adherend without an adhesive. SOLUTION: A foam composition containing a crosslinkable liquid rubber having a number average mol.wt. of 500-28,000, a crosslinking agent to crosslink the liquid rubber, an oil component, and a thermal decomposition type foaming agent is formed into a film, which is then heated to conduct the crosslinking and foaming and to obtain a foam sheet. This foam sheet can be molded in good precision in a thin thickness, and the sheet as it is exhibits adhesive property without coating an adhesive. Therefore, it is possible to provide a thin foam sheet having the adhesive property in a good yield and good production efficiency.
