摘要 PURPOSE: An attachment structure of a substrate and a cell of a reflection type liquid crystal display and a method of attaching the substrate and the cell to each other are provided to reduce the contact area of the cell and the substrate so as to restrict warping of the cell and generation of fringe. CONSTITUTION: An Au base film(30) is formed on a substrate(400). An adhesive tape(40) is attached to the base film, and a predetermined photoresist pattern is formed on the adhesive tape. Exposed portions of the adhesive tape and the base film, which are not covered by the photoresist pattern, are removed by etching, and the photoresist pattern is stripped off, to form an Au film/adhesive film pattern on the substrate, thereby accomplishing a cell substrate of a reflection type liquid crystal display. The cell substrate is arranged on a substrate(300b) and hardened to attach the cell and the substrate to each other.
