PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating tube formed of a thermoplastic resin foam sheet used as a heat insulating material for a copper tube for feeding hot water and not remaining on the copper tube in a thermally fused state even if a heat insulation tube temperature near the copper tube exceeds a softening temperature, and a method of manufacturing the heat insulating tube. SOLUTION: In this heat insulating tube, a mold releasing agent layer is stacked on one surface of a thermoplastic resin foam sheet and formed in a cylindrical shape with the mold releasing agent layer positioned on the inside.
