PURPOSE: Provided is a desk equipped with a reading stand which maintains a book at an angle almost perpendicular to the eyes of a user to prevent fatigue of neck, shoulders and eyes of the user. CONSTITUTION: A receiving hole(11) is formed on the desk panel. In the receiving hole(11), a storage box(20) is received. A reading stand(30) is foldably connected by a hinge at the front of the storage box(20) while maintaining a parallel position to the desk panel. The reading stand(30) has an installation groove at the front and a protrusion at the bottom surface. At both sides of the bottom surface of the reading stand(30), a supporting rod(40) is rotatably connected to hinge parts to support the reading stand(30) at a predetermined angle. At both ends of the storage box(20), fixing devices(50) are disposed to fix the supporting rods at a predetermined angle. A supporting plate(60) is foldably connected by a hinge at the front of the storage box(20) and inserted into the installation groove. An operation rod(70) is disposed by a spring at the bottom of the storage box(20) so that it moves forward and backward. A plate spring(80) is resiliently disposed on both sides at the upper part of the storage box(20).
