PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that transfer of a float operation is difficult because a waterproof seal material exists, and that a sensor is required to be enlarged when the float is enlarged for better transfer of the operation, and that a large space is required for sensor installation when using a mechanism capable of easily transferring the float operation. SOLUTION: An optical fiber and a loss generation mechanism are provided in an expansion/contraction instrument having waterproofness and/or airtightness, to thereby secure airtightness, and when the optical fiber is deformed by floating-up of the float, the expansion/contraction instrument is compressed simultaneously.
