PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a disk device in which any countermeasures such as installation of a heat radiator and use of a highly efficient spindle driver are required and any additional cost is required. SOLUTION: An output voltage Vv of a feedback variable voltage power supply 12 is supplied to a spindle motor 4 through a spindle driver 11. The voltage Vv is made variable. For example, when spindle servo works off equal to or more than 'n' times within a constant time t, the voltage Vv is set into a high voltage for a duration without exceeding a prescribed time T.
