Spraying device is arranged at inlet side of rolling stand. Control value of controlling device is preliminarily determined value or value calculated in combination with real torque of lower and(or) upper roll. Method for rolling strip like piece between upper and lower rolls of rolling stand in line for cold rolling comprises steps of moistening upper and(or) lower side of rolled strip by means of spraying device at controlling quantity of sprayed liquid and supplying it; performing liquid quantity control while using as controlling value preliminarily determined value or value calculated in combination with real torque value of lower and(or) upper roll.
