PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve influence of an error of a crystal oscillator due to temperature by correction in software without adding special hardware even if a universal real time clock or crystal oscillator is used. SOLUTION: This electronic timepiece device has: a ROM 3 with daily time errors based on the average monthly temperature previously stored for every month; a correction control part 41 for periodically reading the daily time errors of a corresponding month from the ROM 3 once a day to accumulate and store the read daily time errors in a cumulative correction amount storage part 42, for reading seconds data from the RTC 2 when the cumulative time error is above one second to write seconds data obtained by adding seconds of the integer parts of the cumulative time errors to the read seconds data in the RTC 2, and for subtracting the integers from the cumulative time error stored in the storage part 42 to store the results; and the storage part 42 for storing the cumulative value of the daily time errors.
