FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: alloying composition comprises aluminum or aluminum and titanium or zirconium and rare-earth metals taken in the amount 0.03-40%. Alloying composition comprises aluminum in the amount 20-40% in the following ratio of components, %: aluminum, 20-40; niobium, 40-80; rare-earth metals, 0.03-40; aluminum and titanium taken in the amount 15-20% and 20-30%, respectively in the following ratio of components, %: aluminum, 15-20; titanium, 20-30; niobium, 50-65; rare-earth metals, 0.03-40; zirconium taken in the amount 25-50% in the following ratio of components, %: niobium, 50-85; zirconium, 25- 50; rare-earth metals, 0.03-40. The proposed alloying composition shows the enhanced technological effectiveness and enhances the extraction of rare-earth metals in steel. Invention can be used in making alloys and special steels.
