PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer displaying device that performs a novel and unexpected visual change in the pointer displaying device, for example, installed in an automobile, an motorcycle, a ship, an agricultural/construction machine, and an aircraft, especially for the pointer displaying device utilizing an light emitting display body as a display device. SOLUTION: The displaying device comprises a pointer 1; a scale plate (display body) 2 forming a plurality of light emission displaying parts 21a-21h, 22a-22o responding to the operation of the pointer 1; and a control means 3 controlling the light emission states of the light emission displaying parts 21a-21h, 22a-22o in response to an in input signal from a key switch 5.
