PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for disposing an ignitor in the liner port of a gas turbine engine. SOLUTION: An ignitor tube 34 disposed in a port 22 in the liner 18 of a combustor 10 comprises a first portion 48 having an inner surface 50 with an inner diameter 52 and an outer surface 54 with an outer diameter 56, a second portion 60 installed adjacent to the first portion 48 and having an inner surface 62 with an inner diameter 64 and an outer surface 66 with an outer diameter 68 extending from the outer diameter 56 of the first portion at a first end part 70 to a specified outer diameter 72 at a second end part 74, and a third portion 78 installed adjacent to the second portion 60 and having an inner surface 80 with an inner diameter 82 and an outer surface 84 with a generally same outer diameter 86 as a specified outer diameter 72. The inner diameter 64 at the second portion of the ignitor tube 34 is generally equal to the inner diameter 52 of the first portion, and the inner diameter 82 of the third portion at the third portion of the ignitor tube 34 is larger than the inner diameter 64 at the second portion 60.
