PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding structure of a bag mouth which is not torn when the bag is carried but can be easily torn when it is opened and to provide a binding apparatus for the bag mouth which can easily form a notch during the binding operation. SOLUTION: In the binding structure of the bag mouth in which the bag mouth 2 of the packaging bag 1 housing an article is bound with a binding tape having adhesiveness on one surface and is sealed at the circular binding portion 8 and the tape overlapping portion 9 is protruded from both the ends of the circular binding portion 8, the opening notch 10 capable of being cut by pulling the tape overlapping portion 9 is arranged in the joint portion of the tape overlapping portion 9 and the circular binding portion 8. The binding apparatus of the bag mouth has a cutting blade 14 for making the notch 10 for opening the binding structure arranged in an opening edge of a pocket groove 12 of a winding roller 6 for conducting the binding operation.
