PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching control apparatus and a switching control system capable of simplifying switching control in a management section of the switching control apparatus and backup of a switching control state. SOLUTION: The switching control apparatus includes: the management section 1 for receiving a switching control command from a host user; a host interface section 2 responding to the switching control command and the switching control state; a map management section 3 for managing a map in the switching control state; and signal processing sections 5 for transmitting/ receiving the map of the switching control state to/from the management section 1, executing the switching control of n:1 (n is a positive integer of 1 or over), and capable of executing individual autonomous switching control. It is not required to discriminate switching propriety of all the signal processing sections 5a to 5m for the management of the switching control of the signal processing sections 5a to 5m and to have an exclusive area for backing up the switching control state. Further, it is possible to share data for report of the switching state to the host user and for backup of restoring the switching control state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
