<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way clutch which can extend the lifetime and prevent the occurrence of slip by restraining the exfoliation and abrasion of an outside engagement surface of an inner ring. <P>SOLUTION: This one-way clutch raises the hardness of a cam face 2a of equilateral octagonal cross section of the inner ring 2 that receives big load contact with the engagement roller face 5 in a small contact ellipse than the hardness of a cylindrical engagement face 1a of an outer ring. Therefore, the occurrence of exfoliation and abrasion on the the inner ring 2 coming into contact with the engagement roller face 5 in a small contact ellipse is restricted and the lifetime of the inner ring 2 is extended and the slip can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
