<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper-made container which is inexpensive and easy to manufacture, although it is of a double structure, and exhibits excellent heat insulation such that it can be continuously kept in a bare hand even when hot water is poured therein. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the paper-made heat-insulating container consisting of a container body including a barrel with a rim on the upper end and a bottom plate locked in the vicinity of the lower end of the inner wall surface of the barrel, and a tubular barrel band mounted on the outer wall surface of the barrel of the container body. The barrel of the container body has a stepped part formed by radially outwardly widening the diameter of its upper portion. A first sidewall part from the stepped part to the upper end has a first taper, and a second sidewall part from the stepped part to the lower end has a second taper. The first taper is the same as or different from the second taper, and the barrel band has a taper approximately the same as the first taper on the first sidewall part. Thus when the barrel band is mounted on the barrel, part of the inner wall surface of the band comes into tight contact with the outer wall surface of the first sidewall part of the barrel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
