<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device which is low-cost, excellent in assemblability and always grasps the accurate movement quantity of an application cursor. <P>SOLUTION: In this pointing device 11 where when any load is applied to a stick part, the stick part is tilted to a direction to which the load is applied, and an output signal is changed according to the tilt amount of the stick part, the stick part is inclined to the direction to which the load is applied with an axial part formed at the central part as a center.
