<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas separation apparatus which solves the problem that, since the amount of compressed air discharged is kept constant independently of the amount of a product gas used by each person, the adsorption efficiency is decreased by the variation in the pressure of compressed air supplied to an adsorption vessel. <P>SOLUTION: The gas separation apparatus 10 is composed of a valve 14 which opens when the pressure in an air vessel 16 reaches a specified value, thus discharging compressed air from the air vessel 16, and a flow rate adjustment means 15 capable of adjusting the amount of compressed air discharged from the air vessel 16. The pressure in the air vessel 16 is maintained at a pressure required by an adsorption vessel 23 or 24 and enhances the adsorption efficiency of the adsorption vessel 23 or 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
