<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment display apparatus for a game machine, for displaying ordinary alphabetic characters, Chinese numerals, and KANA (Japanese syllabary) though a seven-segment "8" shape is displayed in a conventional manner. <P>SOLUTION: The segment display apparatus is the apparatus for a game machine to display the desired characters by display bodies with a plurality of segments vertically and horizontally arranged. The seven pieces of segments (s1-s7) are arranged in a center as the "8" shape in the display body H. The mirror-writing of a "3" shape including the five pieces of segments(s8-s12) is arranged to the left of the "8" shape, a normal "3" shape including the five pieces of segments(s13-s17) is to the right of the "8" shape, and, then, each interval between the segments is made to be equal in longitudinal and horizontal directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
