<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy and safety work for jamming treatment and maintenance of an intermediate treatment portion and a folding treatment portion of a sheet treatment device. <P>SOLUTION: A stapling treatment portion for applying stapling treatment to sheets and the folding treatment portion for applying two-folding treatment to the sheets carried from the stapling treatment portion are unitized, and a unit 40 of the folding treatment portion is formed to be pulled out forward (a K40 direction) in the direction of carrying the sheets from the stapling treatment portion to the folding treatment portion and a unit 30 of the stapling treatment portion is formed to be pulled out perpendicularly thereto (a K30 direction). Furthermore, only after the unit 40 of the folding treatment portion is pulled out, the unit 30 of the stapling treatment portion can be pulled out. It is acceptable that each unit is stored in any order.
