PURPOSE: A material for a platform footage for a ship is improved to heighten welding speed, working condition and to reduce welding defect. CONSTITUTION: In a footage for preventing slipping on a bottom(11) of a platform(10) for ship, the material(30) of the footage has a pentagon shape. An edge of which two surfaces(31a,31b) cross each other is protruded to the upper part of the material to prevent slipping. The lower part(34) of the material has a plane shape to contact with the bottom of the platform. Both edges of the material is welded.
