PURPOSE: Installation structure of a lamp for a vehicle is provided to prevent the gap between the lamp housing and the installation portion, and to restrict movement of the lamp housing by mounting the lamp housing conveniently and firmly with additionally forming the insert nut and the push cap. CONSTITUTION: An insert nut(12) is divided into a body part(16), and an insertion body(18), and composed of a stepped part(22) fitting and compressing a spring(30) and a fitting groove(20) formed at both sides of the insertion body. A push cap(14) comprises a ball inserted to the fitting groove of the insertion body of the insert nut, a compression spring inserted in the rear part, and a cover pressing the compression spring. The body part of the insert nut is installed in the rear part of the lamp housing, and the insertion body is fitted to an installation portion(36) of an outer side panel. The insertion body protruded for the rear part of the installation portion is covered with the push cap, and the ball of the push cap is inserted to the fitting groove of the insertion body.
