SHEET PUNCHING/EMBOSSING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sheet after a gripper bridge from being pushed and contracted toward the front while supplying the sheet to a plucking device.

SOLUTION: This machine has the plucking device for plucking pieces of waste material from the punched and embossed sheet 6 and the gripper bridge 8 mounted on a circulating chain and being intermittently passed through the plucking device within the sheet punching/embossing machine and an other device after holding the sheet 6 at a front end. The plucking device is provided with a plucking plate 15 for mounting the sheet 6 thereon. The plucking plate 15 is provided with at least a suction opening 22 capable of applying negative pressure from a lower side in an inlet region 21 of the sheet 6 and in front of an opening for plucking.
