CONTROL OF STEPPING MOTOR OF KIMCHI REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A method of controlling a stepping motor of a kimchi refrigerator by returning the stepping motor to an origin position when a compressor and a temperature detecting part are in an off state after a period of time has elapsed from the driving of the kimchi refrigerator into a mode set by a user is provided. It prevents excessive entry of refrigerant into the refrigerator by false operation of the stepping motor. CONSTITUTION: The stepping motor of a kimchi refrigerator is controlled by the following method consisting of: determining whether or not a set time is elapsed after the driving of the kimchi refrigerator into a mode set by a user; determining whether or not a compressor and a temperature detecting part are in an off state after a period of time has elapsed from the driving of the kimchi refrigerator; and returning a stepping motor to an origin position by rotating it in an anticlockwise direction in the case where the compressor and temperature detecting part are in an off state.
