<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a bottle by reducing the wall thickness of a barrel portion while preventing deformation by the pressure of a stretch-blown bottle of a rectangular cross-section of the barrel portion with an annular rib recessed in a circumferential wall by reinforcing both ends of the annular rib on front and back wall sides by ribs. <P>SOLUTION: In the stretch-blown bottle, an annular rib to demarcate a circumferential wall in upper and lower portions is continuously recessed in a barrel portion in which a prismatic corner part with front and back walls being wider than both side walls is formed on an inclined surface, and a circumferential wall except the corner part is formed outside in a smoothly curved surface. The annular rib is formed in a trapezoidal shape in which upper and lower rib surfaces are curved and inclined, and a rib bottom surface is vertical. The rib bottom surfaces of the front and back surfaces are formed straight, and a center portion is deeper than both end parts. A corner rib is provided on a part located on the inclined surface of the corner part of the annular rib with the rib bottom surface swollen. A pair of side surface ribs are provided facing each other in the annular rib on both side walls with the rib bottom surface swollen. A reinforcing rib by the swollen rib bottom surface is continuous to the corner rib on both ends adjacent to the on the inclined surface of the corner part of the annular rib of the front and back walls. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
