An ultrasonic washing device which effects washing by spouting a washing liquid from the front end of a nozzle to a washing subject article or washing subject place, wherein in order that ultrasonic vibrations generated by an ultrasonic vibrator may be efficiently propagated to the washing liquid, part of an ultrasonic transmitter to which the ultrasonic vibrator is joined is projected into the hollow of the nozzle having the washing liquid filled therein. Further, the nozzle is so formed that its cross-sectional area gradually reduces toward the front end of the ultrasonic transmitter to cause the ultrasonic vibrations to converge on the end surface of the ultrasonic transmitter. Further, the length of the ultrasonic vibrator and of the ultrasonic transmitter is an integral multiple of half of the wavelength of ultrasonic stationary wave vibrations, and the end surface of the ultrasonic transmitter with ultrasonic waves radiated to the washing liquid is disposed in a position where the loop of the ultrasonic stationary wave vibrations, in which the amplitude is at a maximum, lies.
