PURPOSE: A crescent structure of an oil pump is provided to increase an area of a suction space formed in a housing, thereby effectively removing cavitation due to turbulence of an oil flow flowed into the suction space with reducing the size of the housing. CONSTITUTION: A drive gear is combined with a drive hub to be combined with a torque converter through a slip joint method. A driven gear is eccentrically circumscribed with the drive gear. A crescent(16) is integratedly formed with a housing(14) to be protruded into a space between the drive gear and the driven gear, wherein one front end of the crescent arranged in a suction space of the housing is wider than another front end of the crescent arranged in a discharge space of the housing.
