<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system for which convenience regarding the delivery of game progress information between a game machine and a movable communication terminal unit is increased. <P>SOLUTION: In this game system 10, the game progress information regarding the advancing of the game which is performed by the game machine 18 and the movable communication terminal unit 20 is stored in a game progress information data base 28 of a game server 12 which is connected through a network. Also, when the game server 12 is accessed by the movable communication terminal unit 20, a relay device 16 converts the telephone number of the movable communication terminal unit 20 into a user ID and a password for accessing the game server 12, and transmits them to an authentication server 14.
