<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical interconnection circuit which can perform light control introduced into an optical waveguide with high precision, enables easy miniaturization, and can be easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The optical interconnection circuit is equipped with a surface light emitting laser 1 and a first light receiving element 5 constituted of minute tiling-like element formed on a substrate 10 and a first light receiving element, an optical waveguide 4 having optical waveguide material which is formed on the substrate 10 and optically coupled with a light emitting part 1a of the surface light emitting laser 1 and a light receiving part 5a of the first light receiving element 5, an integrated circuit chip 20 which is flip chip mounted on the substrate 10 and arranged so as to cover at least a part of the optical waveguide 4, and a photodiode 2 which is included by the integrated circuit chip 20 and formed at a position facing the optical waveguide 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
