<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate turning of a main valve element during a change over of passages in a passage selector valve turning the main valve element to change passages of a refrigerating cycle. <P>SOLUTION: The main valve element 2 is housed in a body case 1, and the main valve element 2 is turned by a stepping motor comprising a stator 8, a rotor 6, and a shaft 7 to change passages. A sub valve 23 is arranged in the main valve element 2. The main valve element 2 is pressed against a valve seat 3 by a differential pressure between a high pressure space R1 and a conduction space R2 to positively maintain a seated state of the main valve element 2. A compressor is stopped to reduce the differential pressure between the high pressure space R1 and the conduction space R2, the sub valve 23 is separated from a port 21a by a spring 24 for the sub valve, and pressures of the high pressure space R1 and the conduction space R2 are quickly equalized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
