<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a homogeneous rubber composition for a solid golf ball, containing a co-crosslinking agent such as a metal salt of an unsaturated carboxylic acid, finely dispersed in the rubber, and capable of being produced in good operability; and to provide the solid golf ball obtained by using the rubber composition, having secured stability of the quality, and also having good flying performance. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for the solid golf ball comprises (A) a base rubber, (B) a filler, (C) an organic peroxide and (D) the co-crosslinking agent covered with a rubber for covering. The mass ratio of the co-crosslinking agent to the rubber for the covering in the component (D) is regulated so that (co-crosslinking agent)/(rubber for covering)=(100/1)-(100/20) (by mass). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
