<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirrer so constituted as to certainly perform stirring up to an arbitrary water depth. <P>SOLUTION: A base (10) is held in the vicinity of the surface of the water and a rotary shaft (50A) is supported on the base in a freely rotatable manner and rotated by a drive source (30). Stirring blades (50) are attached to the leading end of the rotary shaft and immersed in water so as to be at least partially exposed above the water at the uppermost rotary position to cause forward water streams by the rotation of the rotary shaft. A water stream guide cylinder (60), so constituted that both ends are opened and at least the base has an arcuate cross section, is supported on the base and inclined so that the angle of inclination can be adjusted with respect to the surface of the water and the stirring blades are arranged in a close vicinity of the opening on the inclined upper end side of the water stream guide cylinder. The forward water streams from the stirring blades are received by the water stream guide cylinder to be guided toward the opening on the inclined lower end side of the water stream guide cylinder and discharged from the opening on the inclined lower end side of the water stream guide cylinder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
