<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic radio tag reader capable of reading only information of a radio tag stored in a storage holder in a sure manner. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic radio tag reader that reads IDs stored in a radio tag 12 through radio waves collectively comprises a storage holder 10 which stores a radio tag 12, and of which side wall 10a is covered with a wave absorber 14; a mounting stand 21 which has an upper surface 21a on which the storage holder 10 is mounted, wherein an inspection area 29 that is generally of the same shape and generally of the same dimension as the bottom face of the storage holder 10 is provided on the surface 21a; radio wave transmitting and receiving part 30 which is disposed on the mounting stand 21, and which transmits/receives radio waves to/from the radio tag 12 through the inspection area 29; and a reading part 24 that reads IDs stored in the radio tag 12 based on the radio waves received by the radio wave transmitting and receiving part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
